Star Seeds is a classic in Austin. I can't remember how many good CDs -- from Miles Davis to the Beastie Boys -- I heard while eating a solid breakfast of eggs, hash browns, bacon and toast. The large counter space is perfect for those 'table for one' diners. My only complaint is that kitchen staff seems to have a huge turnover. So there are times, you can tell a new cook is training. And the wait can be long on the weekends. But neither are a good enough reason not to make this a must-visit for folks in Austin.
Pros: great scene, solid food
Cons: long waits
