I have passed Rive Gauche numerous times and wanted to try it for a while now, a word to the wise don't go! Although the food was fine, the service was terrible. They forgot about our dinner, when we finally reminded the flakey blond male waiter, (an hour an a half after being seated and as we had watched two other tables come and go) he brought our food, forgot about our salads and brought our appetizers after our maincourse. Not to mention the service was terrible with water, bread, etc. It was too bad because I live in the neighborhood and really hoped to enjoy it. Never again though, not to mention the only thing the comped was an unwanted glass of wine. Stear clear!
