The Uptown Bar & Cafe is one of Uptown's greatest legacies, and if you haven't caught a show there to experience the new (as of 5/2002) sound system (which makes it in a high-end class by itself) it is highly recommended that you do so. Live music is Thursdays (usually a $0 cover), Friday & Saturday nights. Breakfast is served all day long (winter to 9PM and summer to 10PM) accompanied by The Cities Best Bloodies and patio seating help emmensely when one is feeling a bit groggy from the night before.
