Whenever a friend or relative comes to LA, I try to take them to Philippe's. With a deliscious dip sandwich, mustard and coleslaw on the side and fine cup-o-joe, it's a great way to get someone into the history of Old Los Angeles, before you start on any of the fantastic adventures Downtown.
