When did it go downhill? 6/28/2002

The Whittier Village Cinema was, at one time, my favorite theatre. They used to have about half big movies and the other half were all indie flicks. The place is okay now with all the big movies because they kept (so far) their same low ticket prices. I especially liked the 10am or noon shows for about $5 no matter which movie you are seeing. My favorite part of this theatre, which remains unchanged, is the seats with optional arm rests so it's like a big couch (big enough to lay down if not crowded)... those are very cool. Well, I guess this place isn't so bad I'm just upset that they got rid of the independant films, it still is a pretty cool place though. Pros: early shows, optional arm rests, inexpensive Cons: glitch in audio, alittledirty, notbad, had better shows more
