The chapel's character is not defined by the massive gold dome (which is currently be renovated) but by the small touches inside. In the pews there is not a single nail, and the entire chapel is lit using natural light. It is a beautiful place to worship and sit in meditation. Being situated on the University of St. Thomas, just blocks from the museum district and Hermann Park, the chapel should definately be on anyone's list to visit defining sites in the city.
Pros: It's free, Good hours, Not crowded
Cons: Parking scarce, No guides, not good for children
