The atmosphere of Bar Marmont is interesting, to say the least. From the oh-so-jaded hollywood crowd, to the more-than occasional celeb or personality, this is definitely the most accessible of the "scene" bars I've been to. Even if you don't buy into the whole Hollywood act, the atmosphere and the bar itself are worth the trip. They're very proud of their alcohol and have to be convinced to part with it, but you get a large martini glass and enough in the mixer cup for a refill, so it evens out.
