After spending some time in the UK, I admit I have a soft spot for pubs. I high recommend ordering a beer (nothing from the US) and sitting on the patio. For the full experience, I'd suggest getting a Sausage Roll or a Scotch Egg. Get there early in the evening to guarantee a spot. And be there for the world cup games (the pub will be showing many of the important games).
