If you have kids, I prefer Islands of Adventure over Universal Studios. There seemed to be more for them to do Suessland, Cartoonland, Jurrassic Park, all seemed to be geared to smaller kids. The Studios side seemed to have more intense rides, Earthquake, Jaws, Kong. Either way, go before April and you wont face near the crowd. If you go later, opt for using FastPass but still expect to wait for a lot of rides.
