It ain't the Second Avenue Deli, but it's as close as you'll get this far west, and a lot closer than many deli wannabes in New York itself gets. Overstuffed sandwiches on a really decent rye? Check. Half sours, dills, and coleslaw? Check. The traditional deli desserts? Check. Crotchety but caring servers? Check. So? Whaddaya waiting for, an invitation?
