That used to be their tagline, and although I'm sure if they use it any more, it's still very fitting. Corky's has undergone a bit of a transformation in the past year or two -- they ""upscaled"" their dining area and stopped carrying some of the more outdated items on their candy counter. But you can still get sweet n sour whitefish (my mother's favorite, which she likes to follow with a piece of Corky's cheesecake), a block of halava, a chocolate phosphate, a Dr. Brown's celery soda and matzo ball soup. Try this: Cold beet borscht with a boiled potato, and all the pickles you can eat. With a side of rye bread and sour cream for dipping. Yum.
