I recently went to Canoe for a nice dinner. We first sat at the bar and had a glass of champagne. The service from the bartender Lauren (guy) was right on que. He was attentive and knowlegable. They seated us shortly after we finished our drink. The hostess was snippy and to honest, a complete ditz. She forgot what table we were going to and had togo back up front and look. Service was impeccable. Sit with Bill (tall with shaved head). We didn't feel rushed at all. He was knowledgable of the food and wine. Our food arrived promptly and delicious. I loved the arugula salad. Definitely try the ostrich. Entrees were okay- only because my duck was overcooked. I would definitely go back.
