Having never tried Koreana, my girlfriend and I dropped in to sample what they offered. I have to say, I was impressed.
The atmosphere is pleasant without being stuffy. The service was above and beyond the call. The waitstaff was courteous and prompt and very attentive.
The cuisine is where Koreana truly shines. From bokan to tempura, the fare was outstanding. When Koreana flags an item as spicy, it's not just for show, but at the same time it's not inedible. I favor spicy dishes, and they seem to have it down to an art. Very well prepared.
All in all, if in the Austin area, I highly recommend Koreana.
