I first ate at a Fatted Calf (as a child) in the late 1960s when they were downtown. My father worked downtown, and it was a real ""businessman's hangout."" Your only choice was wat kind of cheese you wanted on your burger. My memories were of one of the best burgers I had ever eaten. Why this never became a national franchise, I don't know. But it should have been!
