Golden Ox used to be our favorite. In 30 years of eating there, I never had a bad meal until 2001.
Something changed there. We have had 4 bad meals in a row. Four strikes and they're out. We won't go back. Everything from poor quality meat
(horrible gristle in prime rib and fillet mignon? Yup)
Burned baked potatoes? Yup three different times.
Even the ranch dressing tasted horrible the last time. The service just got worse with each visit.
We should have asked for our money back but we didn't want to make a scene. We won't ever go back
