I've eaten at over 25 true steakhouses and Delmonico's is quite simply the worst one I've ever been to. My fiance and I ordered a bone in ribeye. Her medium rare steak was medium (virtually no red inside, all pink.) My rare steak was cooked fine; however, when I was done I had a 4 or 5 ounces of unedible fat left on my plate which is extreme, even for a ribeye. On the positives, the steak tartar was very good, service was great, and they have a fantastic wine list. They did try to make the experience right by not charging for one of the steaks but that does not compensate for the fact that you expect a fantastic meal and get a mediocre one at best. Don't bother with this one and go to Smith and Wolenski's down the strip.
Pros: service, wine list
Cons: low quality steak, steaks overcooked, dry potatos
