If I am entertaining out-of-town guests who appreciate true Chinese food, this is where I take them. Ton Kiang offers the best dim sum I've found in California, hands down. The non-dim sum dishes are fantastic as well. This is one of very few restaurants about which I can say nothing bad. Wait, I take that back. They recently switched brands on their chili paste, and the older brand was superior. But that's the extent of it. Ton Kiang consistently serves excellently prepared food in a welcoming atmosphere.
