This restaurant is by far the best Italian Restaurant I've seen on the west coast. I travel a lot all over the United States, and haven't seen a restaurant like this outside of New York. Excellent food and service. Tremendous ambience, very traditional trattoria like appearance. I like the Roman Theme, hence Villa Romana. The owner is a gentlemen. He offered my guests and I a bottle of complimentary Asti because we were celebrating my friend's birthday. He's a very genuine individual, and loves his restaurant with a passion. You can see this in his eyes and the way he treats his clients. Great guy, great restaurant.
