This may not be everyone's place to hang out, but it is definitely mine. After spending the previous night out hitting up some mainstream clubs, the Standard offers a great way to kick back and relax - the perfect end to an exciting weekend. The crowd is a pretty mixed age range averaging around mid to late 20s.
I'll admit the service is weak, but on the other hand, they didn't get mad when we didn't place an order either. The food and drinks were expensive - so we didn't get much. The music on the other hand was awesome... big name djs drop in from time to time just because the place is so fun. (mostly house and trance)
All in all, my day there - relaxing in the sun by the pool, talking with friends, dancing to excellent music - under $30.
Pros: very relaxed, fun crowd, beautiful view
Cons: expensive prices, a little cold
