this is the cow place right on phinney ridge- decorated in black and white and always full of people on the weekends. mae's serves breakfast in a big way- yummy omeletes and scrambles, great home fries/potatoes and if you are really hungry try the Shake and Eggs. this place is large with several rooms extending in many directions and even a few outside tables in back so even if it is full, the wait isn't usually very long. green lake is just down the hill in case you need to walk off your farmer's feast.
