The Clinton Inn is located in Tenafly less than a one minute walk to "town." It is a very nice hotel that also has space for private parties and events like bar mitzvahs and weddings.
The rooms are very neat and clean. The place doesn't have a pool so might not be the best place to stay if you are coming with children.
If you need to be in the Tenafly area though, this is a good hotel. Prices are reasonable, although if you stay somehwere on Rt. 17 or in Fort Lee you could definitely find places for cheaper.
I have also been to several events at the Clinton Inn and have enjoyed all of them. The space is big and the food was excellent.
