Baker's has been around the Omaha area for a long long time, and sadly is somewhat the worse for wear. It used to be family owned and fanatical about customer service - you couldn't buy two items without having a clerk practically wrestle them out of your arms to carry to your car for you. These days, the prices are better because of the competition, but the service component has suffered a lot. Don't get me wrong, I shop at Bakers often, I just miss the way it used to be. The selection is good, the meat is always good and reasonably priced and I like the produce.
