After the Ice Rink at Northcross Mall closed, I thought Austin was going to be without one. We found Chaparral Ice in North Austin, and it is a blast. The rates for skating are great, and the hot chocolate from the concession stand is perfect, even if it is 100 degrees outside. There are plenty of skates, bleachers, and room for everyone to skate.
