I was so excited when the Philly Connection opened up by us because I love philly cheesesteaks and had been looking for a "replacement restaurant" to get them after we moved. My first experience was disappointing. The meat was cold and my cheese wasn't melted. Plus, the bread seemed generic and almost bun-like. It was OK and nothing too impressive. I have heard others rave about them and thought maybe my standards were too high. I gave them another shot and again, it was alright, but nothing spectacular.
