We live in a smaller town with few chain restaurants. Applebee's is pretty much the only one. We love going there though. It is kid friendly yet has a bar for those kidless nights. I have to say my favorite foods at Applebee's are their apetizers. We always order the appetizer platter and share. For $9 you get a good amount of food. My son loves going there for the balloons. They also give the kids crayons and a book to color (many places do not do this anymore).
