The atmosphere at the Shake Shack can't be beat - that is undeniable! There is nothing like hanging out in this park with some friends on a cool summer day and having some burgers and shakes. But... I'm not sure the huge hype is really worth standing in line for an hour and a half like I did! We were with friends, so the time flew, but maybe after that long of a time you're really expecting something amazing. The burgers were good, but I was disappointed with the shake I got. Maybe it was the day, but I paid $5 for a huge cup of chocolate milk it seemed like. Tasty chocolate milk... but shakes should really have a thicker, creamier consistancy in my opinion especially if they cost that much. If you want a burger comparable to In-and-Out's - try Blue 9 on 14th.
