It aint Vegas 8/4/2005

On our way out of town on Krome Ave one day my husband and I decided to stop at this resort and casino for lunch and to play a little at their gaming tables. Located right on the edge of the Everglades we were surprised to see so many cars in the parking lot and so many people there on a midweek , midafternoon time. We had a quick brunch in the cafeteria styled restaurant which was pretty decent, then headed out to the casino floor to try our hand at one or two of the slot machines.. Well, this casino was not at all like you find in Vegas..after a continuous losing streak we decided we did not stand a chance with this particular kind of machine and left.. Leaving behind a bit of money, but not too much..I now only go to play bingo (got my money back playing that to) It looked like some others were winning and having fun so I wont say the place was a real loser but I wouldn't go there to play again. There is a big hotel on the premises with 256 rooms and a golf and country club , complete fitness center as well as a spa.. with four restaurants, there is much to keep you busy and well fed as you try your luck at the tables and machines..Good luck more
