The New River Air Station Theater provides fairly new movies at an affordable price. Instead of paying the full admission at the regular theater you can wait a few weeks and watch the movie for only one dollar per person. The theater is smaller than most theaters but still accommodates a fair amount of people. Doors open 30 minutes prior to the showing. Drinks, candy, and popcorn are sold for reasonable prices. The bathrooms are small but serve their purpose. A military ID is required to get on base to get to the theater. The theater sometimes runs free movies. A couple of months ago they ran Madagascar for free when it was still on at the regular theaters. I recommend this theater for families who want to see the movie even cheaper for what they could rent it for!
