The Wizard of Clay is a wonderful place to see pottery actually being made by the "Wizard". They are known for their famous Bristol Leaf pottery (leaves are collected and applied directly to the clay before firing) and the Crystalline glaze pottery (only a few potters in the U.S. have mastered this technique). You have to see it to believe it. There are no two pieces alike. The location is unique too as it is located in geodesic domes built by the wizard himself. There's lots to choose from and all price ranges. It's a unique find in the Finger Lakes. I recommend a stop there!
