I have so many good things to say about the people and service at Bikeworx that I'm almost uncertain of where to begin. I ride a 1985 Honda Shadow, which had recently had some work done, including a new Rectifier/Regulator. Sunday, July 24th I was in Dorchester when my bike experienced complete mechanical failure.
Galen from Bikeworx organized picking up my bike on Monday morning, transporting it back to Maynard and running a full electrical analysis on it. It turned out that the after market R/R was interacting poorly with my electrical system. They replaced all my fuses, all my light bulbs, and gave me a loaner R/R until the Honda original part comes in. Once the new R/R is in, I can simply stop by on a Saturday and swap the part out.
Maynard is a little out of my way, but after a friend's recommendation, and the exceptional care they took to fix my baby, I'll continue using Bikeworx as my mechanic.
