General MacArthur had a deep appreciation for the Far East and it is evident when you visit the memorial. First, this memorial is gorgeous from the outside. It is a very fitting tribute to a man who was so dedicated to his country. There are educational videos that play every so often through the day that discuss his life and times. There is a gallery showing many of his artifacts and gifts that were given to him during his travels. Then you can even see his and his wife's tomb.
They have educational tours for groups that are very neat for younger students.
I highly recommend visiting this memorial if you have not done so.
