The students are earnest and really eager to learn dentistry. Prices are moderate and quite reasonable. However, it takes a really long time for them to complete the dental work in your mouth - two hours in the dental chair is common. The students have a "real" dentist check their plan and then their work every time. Students can be tentative with probes, drills, giving novacaine, etc. I was told more times than I can count that the topical was not necessary because it only gave psychological relief - who is teaching this dumb philosophy? It would be best if the real dentist who oversees the work was the same one each visit but unfortunately this is not the case. Once, I had a dentist who was very rough and completely unprofessional, causing me more pain than necessary. They also do specialty work - crowns, extractions, etc. but have limited lab time so you might have to wait a long time for the crown to be ready. You pay for what you get and you get what you pay for. If you don't mind letting students practice on you and have a lot of patience, you might want to give this clinic a try.
