The Ahwatukee News is a local paper giving locals a pretty good impression of the area's activities. It's published twice a week with a hard focus on schools and crime and an overabundance of advertising, which is needed to run the paper. The articles are well written for a small paper and likes to even focus on local people and their successes. Oh - and sports are REAL big - especially the high school activities. Nice to have. It's available free at local merchants which is nice.
