Our first week here at Kindred South has been far better than I expected, and I expected it to be good. My husband is making progress weaning off the vent already. He gets anxious, of course, and the staff help to calm him when I am not here to. The respiratory therapy department is exceptional. That is most certainly this hospital’s expertise. All of the staff have been so kind to me and to my husband. He has been through something so traumatic and everyone just encourages him and cheers him on. I can reassure him that he is making progress, because I can see it for myself! I am so thankful for everyone here taking care of my husband.
