I wanted my wife to come to Kindred because several months ago, my best friend was cared for here at Kindred after he had a stroke. Kindred did such a great job caring for him, and he made so much progress with them, that I knew my wife would be well cared for. She has been. She has made so much progress weaning off the ventilator, thanks to the excellent care from the Respiratory Therapy Department. All of the staff here are friendly and professional, from the time you come in the front lobby to when you sign out to leave. The hospital is cleaner than any other hospital I’ve been in. Even the elevator is clean! The nurses ask me if I have any questions when they come in to care for her. I especially have appreciated Mike in Respiratory for working with her so closely and with such compassion. He is patient and takes however much time is needed to explain to me and my daughter what he is doing and why. I would definitely recommend Kindred for the excellent care and compassion they give their patients and the families.
