I adopted a dog from Ginger's Pet Rescue several years ago. The dog is chipped, but Ginger's never gave me a certificate of adoption or provided the chain of custody documents I'd need to transfer the chip into my name. (I was told that these would be sent to me after the trial period. They weren't.) Also, they failed to disclose the dog's serious skin problems (due to food allergies and low thyroid). It was obvious from the few documents I finally did receive that the dog had been previously adopted and returned, but Ginger's gave no information about the issues that had led to his return. Given the high prices, I expected better service than that. I love my dog, but would never deal with this company again.
