I was one of the first persons to stay at Seven Ponds in 2008. At the time only the lake cabin and a caretakers home where on the 80 acres. I stayed alone for 32 days and while I had intermittent “chats” with Dr Meredith,they were deep insightful thought provoking and incredibly helpful. Each time we brought The Holy Spirit into our conversation and He was present on the Ranch! If I needed anything it was a phone call away. As I wasn’t a flight risk I was allowed to go to town for church on Sunday and met so many local folks who were welcoming and friendly. At Seven Ponds I did find clarity in my future and peace in my heart. I really wanted to be there and had a purpose that needed fulfilled. I also faced my own demons and worked through them, so while I did spend a lot of alone time it was exactly what I needed so I could meditate and journal through my personal issues.
Dr Meredith was a huge help and I will always be grateful for his vision at Seven Ponds. The program and property Works if you want it to! If you require a hospital setting with a nurse standing over you with your daily pill then check into a cold hospital. If you want to be in the presence of God then come to Seven Ponds! I love Oklahoma now and all the wonderful genuine people who live there.
