I have unfortunately had to deal with these people for well over a year now as they are the only service provider for Lowes in my area. To begin with their office staff is horrible. They are not polite or friendly. They schedule the appt whenever and don't take into consideration when it's good for you. They just expect you to make time for them. I didn't realize the company was more important than the customer apparently.
They have been out to my home multiple times over the past year and a half. They have done the same thing every time they have come out to fix my freezer and the problem keeps recurring. Instead of trying to actually research and figure out the problem they just keep putting a band-aid on it and replacing the ice maker. Let's figure out why the ice maker keeps breaking (DUH!) They are out here about every 3 months (only because it's under warranty and I have to use them) and if Lowes didn't get a discounted rate for their services they would have officially paid more than 3 times what I paid for the entire refrigerator.
This last time they were out Lowes finally said "If this isn't going to permanently fix the problem then call us and deem it unrepairable." It's always the same guy that comes on every call so he came out again and took a look and after asking him if it was going to be a band-aid or not (which we both knew that's all it was going to be) he said "I can't tell the future" and refused to contact Lowes all together to give them a report or close the ticket. I'm guessing he didn't want to have to give them that same lame excuse in case they asked him that same question that he obviously didn't want to answer. He wouldn't even give them any report at all so that Lowes could make the decision that it's "unrepairable" themselves.
Not only have they been a shady and unknowledgeable company, but they are also just doing the bare minimum so they can keep getting paid by their "big box" customer. They are unprofessional and I HIGHLY recommend refusing their service/not using them.
