I have read through Dr. Barroga's reviews and am shocked. I came to him after back surgery. I had pain..a lot of pain. Initially I received pain meds but also physical therapy 3 times a week. Eventually his physical therapist left his practice. He never got another one. He continued giving me Norco Soma and zanex in unbelievable amounts. I would go to my monthly appointments and get refills without any kind of assessment. Dr. Barroga is a high priced drug dealer. After a long period of time I became concerned that I had become addicted to the meds. I told Dr.Barroga of my concern and he blew me off saying not to worry about it. The meds kept coming. I repeatedly tried to stop taking the meds and each time the withdrawls were unbearable....so I resumed taking them. This went on for years. My addiction cost me 2 jobs and almost my children. I was depressed and I didn't know what to do. Eventually I found a reputable doctor who helped me with my pain and with my addiction. I am now drug free, married, and am part of an incredible family. My new doctor told me if I had continued taking the meds Dr. Barroga supplied I would have died. I should have known something was wrong when I went to 2 different pharmacies and they refused to fill his prescriptions. Please take my advice. Go somewhere else. Don't be fooled by his Jesus speech. Im a Christian and truly believe he uses religion to suck people in.
