I have an old furnace that needed a small part. They didn't try to sell me a new one. I was told at 18 years old the $120 for repair was better than replacing it at this time. I had no rust in the furnace it sits in the garage so not a lot of extra moisture like a crawl would have. It was recommended I wait for a motor or board to go bad before I replace it.The company that came here before them was here 5 minutes when the repairman tried to sell a new furnace.
