I have been using Fordham's for years. The service was excellent until the ownership changed. On average, I wait two minutes at the front counter before someone comes to meet me. In the last twelve months, I have had three major issues, one of which, was never resolved. I took two expensive blankets to get dry cleaned and when I picked them up, they were completely destroyed. The tags indicated that they were "dry clean only". At pick up, the blankets were given to me all knotted up. I was told by the new owner that this happened during the dry cleaning process and that I should contact the store that I purchased the blankets. The other two issues involved the destruction of buttons, one on a sport coat and the other on a pair of slacks. The sport coat took over a month to get the buttons replaced. I am always willing to pay a premium for quality service but the service at Fordham's does not live up to the quality I was used to.
