Tony serviced my schedule oil heating tune-up this morning. The first thing he asked is whether I have noticed any heating problem. Well I do. He listened attentively as I told him that my heating sometime stopped working after I replacing the water in the boiler, and to get it working again is by making a hard knock on the drain pipe's housing (That's how MacFarlane's repairman finally got it working after I made an emergency call last winter). He then worked on the problem and did the service for 2.5 hours. Afterward, he explained that the problem is due to the built-up dirt in the housing that prevented the float from rising, and he took it apart and scrapped it clean.
I have been with MacFarlane for 11 years. There were some good and some not so good service people over the years, but the service people in the last 3 years were very good to excellent.
