WARNING!! PATIENT COMMITTED SUICIDE!! 7/6/2016

First of all, in my opinion, the hook of being a "christian facility" is a deceptive way to capitalize in a field of help that is not offered everywhere. If they were really into being a christian facility they would have some kind of service every Sunday for the clients. Instead we were given a map of churches in the area that were within walking distance. Not even on Christmas were we treated to a service from "A place of hope." Now by the time you or a loved one are looking for help from an inpatient or outpatient mental health facility, your situation is very serious. Expect to pay at least $1,200.00 a day or $36,000.00 for a 4 week stay. In my opinion I believe your length of help is solely dependent on how much your insurance will pay and/or how much you can self pay. The longer you can pay, the longer it will take for you to be "well enough" to go home (in my opinion). I was a client patient (client) for a month and a half. Let me enlighten anyone that might be considering "A place for hope" for their place of help. I stayed in one of their "gifted" houses with 5 other women. Each of these women had attempted suicide AT LEAST ONCE and had no hesitation to share their experience. I had never contemplated suicide and was horrified by what I was hearing. Then the unthinkable happened when a housemate went missing. A number of us brought it to the staff's attention she was missing (as it did not seem to us they were aware of her absence). They said "we searched everywhere for her" but she was not found until the next morning. The staff found her hanging from the back of the house she was staying at, she had been dead for 24 hours. I heard of another death this year of an alleged client from out of state who walked in front of a train. This death was headline news in Seattle. I don't know what Dr. Jantz and his staff believe is an acceptable loss vs their profit. For some the loss is just too great. For some they have lost their life. PLEASE BEWARE. more
