The price was twice as much as had expected. We never received a receipt for the work done. I would have to believe with two technicians on two separate days. we were probably charged with 2 service calls. 1st day they showed up empty handed, no hot water heater, 1 hour. 2nd day they came out, 3 hours approximately, did a good job, had to shut the water off to install new valve but it drained the house and when the water was turned on the faucets and toilet were not bled from the air in the line causing the toilet tank valve to keep running and I could not get it to shut off after cleaning it of debris so I replaced it. The price is still shocking, 3 times more than the near exact same model we replaced 14 years earlier. I'm guessing 2 service calls, and a total of 8 labor hours. The last plumber we had for this hot water heater install came out and brought the water heater with him and took him less than 2 hours to install. However Mr. Rooter techs did install a pan underneath this new one so it can run into the sump pump instead of the floor. Les B. and Aaron R. did excellent work but the company Mr. Rooter sends techs out on 2 separate days and my wife told them she wanted a receipt but did not get one. I am disappointed and feeling kind of took. It doesn't seem the customer with out hot water isn't important like it was 14 years earlier. And now you pay for a hot water heater and you get no idea what all the extras you are paying for. Not even an itemized estimate. Next time I know where I can get a hot water heater, and, yes take the time to do it MYSELF! Thank you, Andy Rogers
