I found Crain thru Google and am so glad I did. The web site was helpful because it listed the points of the service, a routine furnace check and maintenance, so that eliminated guesswork on my part.
When I called, Audrey (a real live person!) answered and was extremely pleasant and helpful. She explained the procedure to me and assured me all the technicians are licensed. She offered to call the tenants at the homes where I wanted service so I didn't have to do it. And Crain accepts credit cards by phone, which is a plus. It's difficult to meet tradespeople on the job, especially if you have to wait hours to be sure and be there in their "window of opportunity".
Jason was my tech. He called ahead of time so there was plenty of time to make sure someone was on site, and he did a thorough job. His report was very positive which told me he is honest and isn't using the discount offer to generate repair business. I just went thru that with a sewer guy and it's very discouraging.
So, I'm looking forward to Jason coming to my house tomorrow to check my furnace, and then moving on to the other rentals I have.
I feel confident that I can call Crain for other heating/cooling jobs and get the same great service.
