My experience with Kelsey is the closest I've ever felt to getting government run healthcare and it is horrible. This place has charged me for cancelled appointments then has harassed me for payment of those missed appt when signing in. They are sarcastic and rude and have turned the ladies who check you in into bill collectors for missed appointments. I have a seizure disorder and can't always get to my appts as I rely on others. So I have to explain this in front of any stranger sitting there waiting to also be seen by a doctor. They are demoralizing and demeaning. The nurses make comments about my diagnosis and medications. The doctors could care less. They are paid employees of Kelsey. It's a job to them and clear shows in the way they treat patients. They do nothing for you. Ever. Why because when you are insured by the company that employees those doctors they have no interest in treatment. Less is more for them and they don't make money if actually trying to treat a patient. Any company that brags about their Medicare rating as 5 stars with the government should tell you they are all about getting that 5 star rating and not so much for the patient. You should stay away. Very far away as these people have no interest in you, your illness or treating you. I've never been treated by more condescending staff and doctors ever. My previous treatment with private insurance doctor's and M D Anderson for an abdominal tumor was exceptional however I'm told by Kelsey I can't follow up with MDA. God help me if I need cancer treatment again. I'd probably die trying to find out with Kelsey doctors. They don't care. They are salaried employees. Stay away from these people. They have take no interest in you or your illness. Hope the rest of our health system doesn't get to the Kelsey standard of care because then we are all in a lot of trouble. more
