Actually we found this Zoo very refreshing. A wonderful change from the normal concrete and gunite zoos most people frequent. It was early spring so most of the "green" wasn't in bloom yet, but we found it to be very interactive, educational and an experience not to be missed. To respond to the review about the tiger enclosure, after listening to the Keeper Talk, it's a new exhibit with work still going on and play structures were being added shortly. And we saw three Oryx, maybe you should have looked harder. It's a very natural environment and the animals looked very healthy and well cared for as was evidenced by numerous babies and expectant mothers. If you're looking for million dollar exhibits, this is not the place for you. If you're looking for up close experiences with animals you don't often see at other zoos, this is definitely the place to be!
