My moving experience wasn't ideal by any means, but it wasn't nearly as bad as other reviews I've read. I was moving from Alabama to Missouri.
First of all, I paid $1600 to move one bedroom. A lot more than I'd have liked to pay, but that seems to be the going rate. I was told that the movers would arrive to pick up my stuff on June 21st, however I recieved a call a couple days before telling me that the movers wouldn't be able to fit my things on the truck. So I waited, and finally they called and told me the movers would arrive on the 27th, almost a week later. I got a call on the 26th telling me the movers wouldn't be able to make it yet again. At this point, I called another moving company and hired them instead, and in the morning told All State that I would be cancelling with them. When the movers turned up that day I assumed they were from the new company I hired, however they ended up being from All State and I had no choice but to cancel my cancellation. So I wasted $200 putting down a deposit on the second company. This was obviously a huge inconvenience for me, and was very frustrating as well.
That being said, the movers were extremely courteous, and I enjoyed talking to them while they were loading up my things. They delivered my things way faster than I was expecting, only two days after picking them up. None of my items were damged or missing, and everything was as it should be. I was extremely satisfied with the movers themselves. My account manager, Cruz, was also very courteous and professional.
