I had an appointment with Dr. Schwartz last week. His staff was very nice almost overly solicitous. I had a Groupon coupon for Restylyn. I was given a lecture by his cosmetologist who informed me that I could not have the Restyln around my lips that he used Botox for this area. She also told me that he would be numbing the area which I had never had done before. I have had both Juvederm and Restyln in the past and never have I had numbing shots. Bottom line is that he pumped on the Restyln into the frown lines, none into the lips and charged me $75.00 for the numbing shot.
The Groupon was $199.00 plus the $75.00 for the numbing shot and then he wants to do mutiple Botox shots in 10 days. I must say in the doctor's defense that the marionette lines look good but a lot of bruising. .The fact is I was lied to about the Restyln not being used around the lips which is where it is used primarily!
Don't assume anything, ask questions!
