Poor customer service and even worse cabins 6/2/2013

It started off on a bad note when we were told a key was not available for the cabin we reserved. They said it was unlocked and we could get in. At the time, it had not occurred we had to keep it unlocked the rest of our stay. it forced us to repack the car each day in order ont to leave our stuff unsecure. The Lost Paddle was a dump. It would be fine for a guys trip but not for a family. The ladies were discusted with the cleanliness. One of them slept in the car instead and the other slept on her towel on the bed. After we rafted, we decided to leave early due to the crappy cabin and only requested a pro-rated portion of the cabin refunded due to the lack of a key and poor upkeep of the property. I thought it was a reasonable request but we were denied. Afterwards, I put in a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The rafting company failed to respond within the required time. The ended up replying nearly aear later and lied abount a key being available the next day. I wanted the BBB to keep the unresolved complaint on file due to their tardiness and lies. The closed it out as resolved even though I disagreed. more
